When I spied Cassandra Smith’s painted antlers late one night on Etsy, they reminded me all the possibilities that come with paint. In the same way color energizes a room or a tired piece of furniture, it can give new spirit to natural objects such as branches, pinecones and rocks. Holiday Bling with Silver+Gold+Bronze Metallic Paint

I’m experiencing my all-time most clumsy, most absent minded, and most ill-prepared Christmas season ever. In my desperation to get on to the next, I’ve set out three cans of metallic paint in the laundry room; one silver, one gold, and one bronze.
